Bouillon
Bouillon is kind of P2P WYSIWYG wiki with reputations deployed over social network of Jabber contacts. Bouillon 2 lets you read and edit content in the single worldwide peer-to-peer wiki. In Bouillon, there are no global content. Everything you see in Bouillon is recommended by your friends; and vice-versa, your friends see what you recommend. When adding a piece of content you just start its propagation; by recommending other?s content you just let it spread further in the social network. Bouillon provides features of nearly real-time collaboration. A page may be updated by other peers as you read it; on commit, your changes are propagated to other readers within your reach. Under normal conditions, Bouillon is able to retrieve pieces recommended by friends of your friends (two steps away). In some special situations, Bouillon may reach content four steps away from you. Assuming that social graph of humankind is believed to be six steps in diameter, that is pretty enough. Bouillon could be deployed in- server-side mode (as a web-server and a Jabber server's) external component
- client-side mode, as a desktop P2P app
- or in both modes simultaneously
